The technique: Count your many blessings, name them one by one.

When you catch yourself feeling sorry for yourself or thinking negatively and being a scrooge, start thinking about all the things that you do have.

Maybe you are in your car and you start to complain, then you realize you're complaining. Now is a good time for you to be thankful that you have a car! Be thankful that you can drive, that you are healthy enough to drive and go places!

Think about all the things that you take for granted ortho evra patch a day to day basis. I'm telling you, you'll really feel like a complete prick for complaining when you see people in other countries that don't have anything, they don't have running water, they don't have electricity. There are so many people even in this country that don't even have these things. They can't afford the light bill and they are not healthy enough to work and they are not savvy enough or educated enough to even know to seek out a free education or to build money online.

Some people just have it worse than others and take heart my friend, no matter how bad your situation is, there is always someone out there that has it a thousand times worse. You know that there are people out in the world right now, suffering in ways we can't even imagine. So next time you want to complain, start to think about all the things that you are grateful for.

You want to get your mind to a place where you go from thinking about what you don't have to thinking about what you do have. Have a "can do, do have" mentality. The glass is half full and start to think about the solutions to your problems and don't waste your mental power on the problems, that power is more better applied toward solutions, period.

Take action: So when you catch yourself complaining, say to yourself, "stop!" and then start to think about all the things you do have and all the ways in which you can get other things that you want. If you change your thinking to this, your being grateful will actually bring new things into your life you otherwise would not have received!
